Could your street be a Play Street?

From Play Streets SF:

Transform your block into a car-free temporary park!

Applications are now open for the 2019 season of Play Streets SF at SFPlayStreets.org, Livable City’s newest program that empowers San Francisco residents to transform their own street on a regular basis into an accessible, car-free open space for children, seniors and neighbors to connect.

With a mission to create healthier, more connected and resilient communities, Play Streets SF provides residents and local organizing teams with the tools needed to reclaim their street for community health and connection – from hassle-free permitting to free safety equipment, outreach tools, and play equipment.

Supervisor Yee and Walk SF — Walk with Pride

From the office of President Norman Yee:

Join us! Walk with Pride with President Norman Yee, Walk SF, and Families for Safe Streets

We would like to invite you join Supervisor Yee and “Walk with Pride” in this year’s Pride parade. This year President Yee is partnering with WalkSF  to have a contingency in this year’s Pride parade.  We want to take this opportunity to support our LGBT families and friends, but also want to take the opportunity to raise awareness about Vision Zero and the organizations and groups that are dedicated to improving the safety of our streets.  Our contingency is family friendly so the more the merrier.

Sunday, June 30, 2019, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Here is the link to RSVP.** Location to meet will be announced later.
