Now that everyone is done with dressing up and distributing candy for Halloween, it’s time to get ready for our last Clean and Green for the year! Besides the regular trash pickers and bags, we will also have some yard bags so we can do some weeding. So come with your garden gloves if you’ve got some! Please RSVP if you plan to join us.
As a reminder, the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association Board is having our casual coffee meetup at the local coffee joint, the Railroad Expresso, this Saturday 10/25/2024, from 9 to 10am. Gotta gripe? Maybe an interesting project you’d like to do with the SNA? Swing by for some java and meet your board and your neighbors and share your thoughts! Let’s make our community even sunnier together!
Hi neighbors, the 2025 Halloween treat map is live! Add your house by submitting the Google form and the treat map will update within a day.
Also a reminder to sign up if you could help. We have some takers on the potluck/official candy station but could use more neighborhood-hands for the clean up after all the children on sugar high head home!
We’re inviting you to join us for a Sunnyside First: the Sunnyside Garden and Stairway Walk! This is a perfect chance to get some fresh air, meet your neighbors, and appreciate the unique charm of Sunnyside.

The Halloween Potluck and Trick-or-treating on Slow Hearst is returning on Friday 10/31! Slow Hearst organizers are obtaining street closure permits between Congo and Edna to ensure the safety of all trick-or-treaters this year.
We also need some help with set up, potluck table management, and clean up between 3 and 7pm. Please sign up for a spot if you can: it will make you super popular with all the little treat seekers in the neighborhood!
