Hello Sunnysiders,
We are back and so looking forward to this year’s garage sale. If you are interested in participating, you can sign up online right here: http://tinyurl.com/SunnysideSalesignup2014.

The Basics About This Year’s Sale:
1. Saturday, September 13th from 9:00-1:00pm. If you want to start earlier or go later, that is fine. Just make sure to note it on your entry and we will include your hours with the map.
2. Starting point will be 415 Edna Street at the St. Finn Barr Auditorium. People can pick up maps there as well as get donuts and coffee. You will be able to pick up your flag for marketing purposes there as well at at 8:00am.
3. We will have a Goodwill Drop Off Truck at St. Finn Barr at day’s end so you can share your non-treasured treasures with others. : )
4. We will be marketing via SF Chronicle and Craigslist as well as via our social medial channels. We would also appreciate you marketing to your networks as well.

PG&E Rate Increase – Public Participation Hearings

The CPUC is holding a series of Public Participation Hearings regarding PG&E’s application proposing rates for gas transmission and storage services for 2015-2017 (A.13-12-012). PG&E requests a revenue requirement of $1.286 billion for 2015, $1.347 billion for 2016, and $1.515 billion for 2017. PG&E requests that the new rates go into effect on January 1, 2015. The Public Participation Hearings are as follows and your City is the highlighted one.

Comments from the public can help the CPUC reach an informed decision, and consumers are encouraged to attend Public Participation Hearings. For those unable to attend a Public Participation Hearing in person, written comments on any proceeding may be submitted to: CPUC Public Advisor, 505 Van Ness Ave., Room 2103, San Francisco, CA 94102, or via email to public.advisor@cpuc.ca.gov . Please refer to the proceeding number on any written or email correspondence. All public comments received are provided to the CPUC’s Commissioners and the Administrative Law Judge assigned to the case.

If specialized accommodations are needed to attend a Public Participation Hearing, such as sign language interpreters, please contact the CPUC’s Public Advisor’s Office at public.advisor@cpuc.ca.gov or toll free at 866-849-8390 at least five business days in advance of the hearing. You’re invited to a National Night Out barbeque on Tuesday, August 5th, 2014 between 5pm to 8pm. Come and meet your neighbors & Ingleside Station officers. What to Bring? Yourself, your family, your neighbors and an appetite. There will be activities for kids for both young and old. This year National Night Out will be held at the following two locations:

Start at Gennessee, toward Foerster (but not the Safeway beds.) 600 block. We might get down to the beds between Foerster & Edna.

Bring gloves, safety vest, trowel or digger. Clippers if you have them.
No Parks help this week – just good neighbors.

Don’t Forget! Night out at the Police Academy August 5

From the Ingleside Police Station . . .

On behalf of the members of the Ingleside Police Station’s Community Police Advisory Board (CPAB), Captain Timothy Falvey, the officers of the Ingleside Police Station, and the community, we are extending an invitation for you to be a part of our celebration of this annual tradition “National Night Out” (NNO), National Association of Town Watch (NATW) celebrating 31 years.

Our event will take place on Tuesday August 5th, at the San Francisco Police Academy at 350 Amber Drive (behind Diamond Heights Safeway) beginning at 5:00 p.m. and will run until 8:00 p.m. Carey Rutigliano, a member of the Ingleside CPAB, has agreed to Chair this year’s event.

This event is very popular with individuals and families from all over the district. We expect roughly 200 people.

There will be Jumpy Houses and a Face Painter as well as giveaways for the kids.
