Earth Day, Saturday 25th, 9am – 12:30. Monterey medians clean up, with your help and DPW staff.

Meet at Sunnyside Conservatory at 9:00am. Coming later? Join a median group between Edna and Baden. We need many volunteers: you’re valuable at a time that suits you.

9:00am at the Conservatory: Sign in at the DPW table, enjoy coffee & snacks courtesy of neighbors & Railroad Express. DPW will provide water; lane closures for every median; tools & instructions; equipment; and landscape staff to help us. From there, we’ll spread out to work in groups: Baden to Congo; Edna (at the Deli) to Detroit Steps, and if we have enough volunteers, Detroit Steps to Congo.

We finish at 12:30 and return to the Conservatory for a pizza lunch provided by DPW & fruit & snacks by SNA. We’re Team #5 of 16 teams in San Francisco out on Saturday morning to spruce up medians. A citywide celebration!

Please RSVP to greensunnyside@gmail.com. We need a great turn-out, for whatever time you can give. Enjoy your neighbors, refresh our highly praised median plantings, and keep Sunnyside attractive and safe.

Thank you.
