SNA Quarterly Meeting, Monday Oct 24th — All Invited
Next Monday is the quarterly general meeting for the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association. All Sunnyside residents are welcome.

The agenda will include a representative from SFPUC about the sewer modernization program, a representative from the ballot initiative ‘Housing Not Tents,’ and a representative from SF Housing Action Coalition speaking about the Affordable Housing Bonus Program. Some of these are contentious issues, and we hope you will bring your questions.
We will also be discussing the recent injury collisions on Monterey Blvd, and how we can make positive changes for increased safety on our main street.
Many new members have joined SNA over the previous months — but we have also had many new followers of this blog — people who are interested but who aren’t yet members. We invite you to come to the meeting and join SNA — and be a part of community-building in our neighborhood. (You can also join online here.)
Where: St Finn Barr Auditorium, 415 Edna Street at Hearst
When: Monday Oct 24th
Time: 7:00 – 8:30 pm
Light refreshments served. We’ll hold a raffle — prizes from local merchants and more.
SFPUC: Have you adopted a drain yet?
Rain is upon us. Several corners in Sunnyside regularly get flooded when debris flows down with rainwater and then builds up in the storm drains. The SFPUC has a program to keep storm drains clear this rainy season with your help — its called Adopt-a-Drain.
You can sign up here: https://adoptadrain.sfwater.org/. More info below. Continue reading “SFPUC: Have you adopted a drain yet?”
