The NEN Awards are returning for their sixth and biggest year!

Produced in partnership with the CCSF Community Challenge Grant Program, The NEN Awards are dedicated to elevating and celebrating the tremendous work that residents and organizations do every day to make our City a great place to live.

The Nomination window is now open for the 6th annual NEN Awards. Join us this coming January to celebrate the amazing work happening in our neighborhoods.  As is the tradition with the NEN Awards, we need your help to find this year’s winners!

Please complete this online nominations form and let us know who you think deserves to win in one, or all, of the categories. Be sure to take the time to tell us in detail why you think they should win.

St. Albain’s Presents – Altar Oregano, Nov 15 – 17

St. Aidan’s announces its 10th original musical comedy with familiar tunes. Altar Oregano is written by John Wilk, CCSF Theatre Director/Instructor. Music direction is by Scrumbly Koldewyn. The eccentric characters from the fictitious St. Dymphna’s Parish compete in the Bobby B-Trayed Pizza Bake Off in order to raise funds to save the vicarage. Along the way, unusual and hilarious transformations happen to each character. Don’t miss this tasty treat!

Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16, 7:30 p.m. Doors Open at 6:30 p.m.

Sunnyside Conservatory Annual Pumpkin Carving – Sunday, 10/27, 2 – 4 p.m.

Our beloved annual tradition!  Come out with friends and family to carve, chat, and enjoy hot cider and fabulous Halloween cookies.  Last year, one family made a wonderful San Francisco Giants themed pumpkin to cheer on our Giants who clinched the World Series later that night.  See everyone soon! Start gathering your inspiration now!

Sunday, October 27, 2013. 2 pm-4 pm, Free.  Doors Open at 1:30.  We could use some extra help setting up.  Please send us an email at info@sunnysideconservatory.org if you can lend a hand.

Bring-Your-Own-Pumpkin. Pumpkin carving kits and tools, including tools for older children, will be provided. Parents must supervise and accept responsibility for pumpkin carving with children.
