Hello Neighbors! Two great events are happening on this Saturday, November 17th in District 7!

Please join me for my 6th -AND BIGGEST- Year of District 7 Participatory Budgeting. Participatory Budgeting gives community members the opportunity to set budgeting priorities and make decisions on what community projects should be funded. Do you live, work or play in District 7? Come help decide how to spend $650,000 in your neighborhoods. Join me at the Project Proposal Workshop to learn more about the Participatory Budgeting process, how to develop ideas, get feedback on your project ideas, and meet your fellow neighbors!

Participatory Budgeting: Your ideas can come to life

The new season of Participatory Budgeting is on. This is the sixth and biggest year of Supervisor Norman Yee’s District 7 Participatory Budgeting — a process by which community members have the opportunity to set budgeting priorities and make decisions on what community projects should be funded.

Do you live, work or play in District 7? Come help decide how to spend $650,000 in your district. Come to the Project Proposal Workshop to learn more about the Participatory Budgeting (PB) process, how to develop ideas, get feedback on your project ideas, and meet your fellow neighbors! Where: Ingleside Presbyterian Church, 1345 Ocean Ave (nr Plymouth), San Francisco

What: Learn more about the Participatory Budgeting process and get feedback on your project ideas.

Another season of Participatory Budgeting set to begin

The 2018-2019 season of District 7 Participatory Budgeting will kick off at a meeting on Thursday November 1, 2018, at Midtown Terrace Clubhouse (280 Olympia) 6:30-8pm.

Have an idea but don’t know how to craft your proposal? On Nov 17 there is a Project Workshop, where you can get the benefit of experienced help to assist you. Details below, followed by a list of all winning projects for the last six years of Participatory Budgeting in District 7

New: Sunnyside after-school program at Clubhouse

UPDATE Aug 30): This program is now full, but they are still accepting people for the waiting list, so you are encouraged to apply.

Thanks to behind-the-scenes work by Supervisor Yee and the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association, SF Recreation and Parks Dept is now starting up an after-school program at the Sunnyside Playground Clubhouse. The price is affordable with scholarships available.
