Learn about Prop E: Tree-Care Ballot Measure

At the last SNA quarterly meeting in August, a representative from Friends of the Urban Forest came to speak on the proposed measure to care for the City’s trees. Many present were surprised to learn that the measure on the ballot this November, Proposition E, does not mean a new property tax, but will be covered by the City’s general fund. Tree-Planting Day a Success for Sunnyside and Nearby Neighborhoods

One of the new trees for Sunnyside planted Saturday Sept 10th —  this one a cajeput on Foerster Street.

Last Saturday September 10th, Friends of the Urban Forest supported by many volunteers planted trees in Sunnyside, Balboa Terrace, Miraloma Heights, and other nearby neighborhoods.
