At the last SNA quarterly meeting in August, a representative from Friends of the Urban Forest came to speak on the proposed measure to care for the City’s trees. Many present were surprised to learn that the measure on the ballot this November, Proposition E, does not mean a new property tax, but will be covered by the City’s general fund.
