Sunnyside has two family events this weekend at the beautiful Sunnyside Conservatory that complement each other.
First, on Saturday, Oct 27 (1:30-4:30 PM), there is the Pumpkin-Carving event–create your dream pumpkin artwork at this free event (sponsored by Friends of Sunnyside Conservatory). Bring your own pumpkin. Pumpkin carving kits and tools, including tools for older children, will be provided. More here.
Next, on Sunday, Oct 28 (6-7:30 PM) SNA is sponsoring the first annual Jack-o-Lantern Stroll, also free.
Share your work of pumpkin-art at the Conservatory — Drop off your carved pumpkin between 5-6 PM, and we will light it up safely and arrange them all in display. Come back–costumes strongly encouraged!–for the family-friendly party after 6 PM, with cookies and hot chocolate to share among the spooky pumpkin faces! (Your pumpkin can go home with your afterward.)

New family-friendly event for Halloween — the Jack-O-Lantern Stroll. On Sunday Oct 28th (6-7:30 PM) at Sunnyside Conservatory. Bring your family (costumes encouraged!) and share cookies and hot chocolate — enjoy the spOOOOOky display of lighted jack-o-lanterns in a beautiful setting. Meet neighbors–and meet the ghosts that haunt the Conservatory!
How to help make a fabulous event: Share your family’s carved pumpkin by bring it beforehand (5-6 PM) to the Conservatory, and we will arrange and safely light it up, for all to enjoy during the Stroll! Then take it home afterwards (7:30-8 PM).
