On Friday July 12, Friends of Sunnyside Conservatory presents Arthur Omura on his harpsichord. Sunnyside Conservatory, 236 Monterey Blvd. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and music will begin at 7:00 PM. There will be a short pause in the presentation, and refreshments afterward.
He has been working on an all Bach program with Italian Concerto, French Overture, and the Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue. This is an opportunity to hear harpsichord music played by a wonderful artist. The next meeting of the Balboa Reservoir Community Advisory Committee (BRCAC) is Monday June 10, 6-8pm, Room 140, Multi-Use Building, City College of San Francisco, 50 Frida Kahlo Way. The agenda will include discussion of the draft Environmental Impact Review for the project, and an update from City College about plans for adjacent development. Everyone is welcome and there is always a public comment period.

The empty lot adjacent to the Joost-Baden Mini-Park at 149 Mangels Ave. was bought recently and plans submitted by a developer to the Planning Dept to build a structure on the property. Below, photos of park and site.
[Update May 24: The neighbor resolved their contentions regarding the plans of the owner of 149 Mangels, and the Discretionary Review was withdrawn, a good outcome.]
