District 7 Supervisor Norman Yee formally recognized Community Living Campaign’s Sunnyside Good Neighbor Ernesto Maystas with a Certificate of Honor from the Board of Supervisors earlier this week.
Ernesto is a special Sunnyside neighbor and a Sunnyside Community Connector, the program that helps keep neighborhood seniors in touch and healthy.
Sunnyside Neighborhood Association congratulations Ernesto on this well-deserved honor.
The first phase of public outreach regarding the proposal to include Hearst Avenue (in the Outer Mission neighborhood of Sunnyside) in the SFMTA Slow Streets program has now closed. The response was largely positive. Read full results of the outreach process here.

The San Francisco Office of the Assessor-Recorder invites you to their upcoming Family Wealth Forum, “Understanding How CA Prop 19 May Impact Your Family”.
This online forum will be held online on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 (12:00 – 1:30 PM). The Assessor’s Office wants to make sure to keep the community informed about changes to the law which may affect their families and financial planning. More info below.
After years of requests from local residents for a marked crosswalk at the intersection of Judson Avenue and Foerster Street–where cars routinely speed–one has finally been installed. The crosswalk was planned as a result of D7 Participatory Budget proposal for Judson Avenue improvements, which included daylighting at this intersection. The last year has also seen sewer work, ADA ramps, and repaving along Judson.
