Sunnyside rang in the new year whilst still ringing out from a spicy rainstorm. Today was a sunny, beautiful crisp day, but the rains are returning. If you need sandbags to protect from the water, the Department of Public Works (Marin Street/Kansas Street gate) may have sandbags for you. For more information, visit their website.
Please join us at the fourth annual Holiday Party! This indoor/outdoor event will be held on Sunday, December 11th from 2:00 – 4:30 pm at the Sunnyside Conservatory.
There will be food and drink, and lots of opportunities to connect or reconnect with fellow Sunnysiders.

Hello,
Join me next Friday in my San Francisco office as we host an art show exhibiting twenty-two San Francisco Bay Area transgender artists and artists whose work supports trans people.
Opening on November 18th at 6:00 pm, “Trans Aware” will highlight trans voices in observance of Trans Day of Remembrance and to support trans people everywhere, including in states that are enacting hate laws attacking them. Curated by Joseph Abbati & KT Siebert, this exhibition will be our first in my office since the pandemic began. I’m so happy to welcome back art lovers in-person. Food and drinks will be served!
Here are the details for the event:
