West of Twin Peaks Central Council Monthly Meeting – November 27 at 7:00 pm

We generally hold meetings on the 4th Monday of the month at the Forest Hill Clubhouse (7:00pm-8:30pm), but sometimes must shift meeting dates to accommodate holidays and other special events. Meeting Agendas are provided in advance by email to delegates and are available on this web site on the records page. Minutes, policy statements, copies of letters and other communication are also posted to the records page and are generally made available within a few weeks of each meeting.

Guests must RSVP by emailing president@westoftwinpeaks.org in advance of the meeting.

Major parking and road changes proposed for Frida Kahlo Way

SFMTA is proposing a “Quick Build” changes to Frida Kahlo Way. The SFMTA team will be at the SNA Quarterly Meeting on November 6th to discuss.

Two way protected bike path

High level proposed changes include:

Bus boarding islands

Curb management changes

The proposed changes will remove 50 parking spaces on the street from Ocean Avenue to Foerster Street.

We’re getting closer to one of my favorite events of the year – my Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest! It’s happening this Saturday, October 28 from 12-3pm at Noe Valley Courts (24th and Douglass St). If you haven’t already, please RSVP here. Kids, parents, friends, and constituents of all ages are welcome to join. We’ll be providing the pre-scooped pumpkins and carving tools, so all you have to do is show up in your best costume ready to show off your pumpkin carving skills. In addition to the Pumpkin Carving Contest, my staff and I will be providing an update on our major wins in the Legislature this year on climate, housing, health care, and much more.Senator Scott Wiener’s 
Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest

Once you’re finished carving your pumpkin on Saturday, you can enter it into our contest emceed by the most fabulous pumpkin carving judges in the city — San Francisco Drag Laureate D’arcy Drollinger and BeBe Sweetbriar!
