Women’s Suit Drive to benefit Dress for Success – 4/13/13 in Sunnyside

Resident Sarah Saunders is holding a women’s suit drive for Dress for Success (www.dressforsuccess.org) on Saturday April 13th from 11:30-1pm and  is hoping to get your help!  She is collecting women’s suits, shoes, handbags and costume jewelry to benefit the San Francisco chapter of Dress for Success, an organization that helps women in need prepare for job interviews.  This is such a great cause and she really would like to get a good turnout from women in the neighborhood.

Can’t make it and want to donate, contact info@sunnysideassociation.org

SF to Enforce Sidewalk Parking Violations

San Francisco will begin enforcing sidewalk parking in Sunnyside.

A vehicle parked on any portion  of a sidewalk can be cited for a sidewalk violation. A sidewalk citation  can be given even if the pedestrian travel path is partly clear or if the  vehicle is parked across a driveway. Sidewalks are the area between the curb  and the building property line. Motorcycles are not exempt from sidewalk  parking regulations. Bicycles can be parked on the sidewalk but their owners  must ensure that the pedestrian path is safe and clear.
