Sunnyside has two projects on the ballot. 17 projects were vetted by both City Departments and the Community Review Committee. Now, District 7 residents have the opportunity to show their support and decide which projects get Participatory Budget funds. In order to vote, you must (1) reside in District 7, and (2) be 16 years of age or older. The public ballot will be open June 12 through June 26.

1970 OCEAN AVENUE – Invitation to attend the pre-application meeting
Goldman Architects is pleased to invite you and your members to attend a pre-application meeting for the 1970 Ocean Avenue renovation and restoration and new housing project. This project, designed by Goldman Architects, will restore the historic El Rey Theater building and create much-needed housing.
The pre-application meeting will take place on Jun 7th, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., at Ingleside Library meeting room (please see attached for more information). During this meeting, we will provide information about the project, answer any questions you may have, and gather feedback from the community. We hope that you can join us.
