Proposed changes to Frida Kahlo – Have your voice heard

Frida Kahlo Quick-Build Project was presented to the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association. The document can be downloaded here.

Notable changes:

  • The Frida Kahlo Quick-Build Project aims to improve safety for people walking and
bicycling on Frida Kahlo Way and Judson Avenue west of Foerster Street.
  • It will strengthen active-transportation connections between the Sunnyside and
Ingleside, Ocean Avenue, City College, and the planned Balboa Reservoir development.
  • The project supports implementing goals and priorities identified in the recently completed District 7 Ocean Ave Mobility Action Plan, previous planning efforts in the area, and
    SFMTA’s Vision Zero Program.
  • Removing 30 – 70 parking spaces along Frida Kahlo Way and Judson.
