Adopt-a-Drain Season coming
As part of the SFWater’s Adopt-a-Drain program. Sunnysiders have so far adopted over 50 of the neighborhood’s storm drains. These are neighbors who’ve volunteered who keep the grates free of debris which help avoid local flooding. To sign up and adopt your own drain, go to adoptadrain.sfwater.org click>register. (Don’t forget to give your new drain a good name.)
New this year: SFWater has flagged four Sunnyside storm drains as being in special need of adoption, on Foerster Street at Monterey and Joost.

Jul 9: Balboa Reservoir community meeting — Transportation
The next meeting of the Balboa Reservoir Community Advisory Committee (BRCAC) is Monday July 9th, 6-8pm (Multi-Use Building, CCSF, 50 Phelan Ave). This meeting is open to all and includes time for public comment. All local residents are welcome. More about the project here.
The subject is “On- and Off-site Transportation“. Also on the agenda: the BRCAC will elect a new chair and vice-chair at this meeting.
