We thank all of our volunteers for joining the team to keep San Francisco Clean! But what is the difference between Graffiti Vandalism and Graffiti Art? One word… Permission!

Here are some programs that teach the difference between the two.

Applications are now open for the 2019 season of Play Streets SF at SFPlayStreets.org, Livable City’s newest program that empowers San Francisco residents to transform their own street on a regular basis into an accessible, car-free open space for children, seniors and neighbors to connect.

With a mission to create healthier, more connected and resilient communities, Play Streets SF provides residents and local organizing teams with the tools needed to reclaim their street for community health and connection – from hassle-free permitting to free safety equipment, outreach tools, and play equipment.

Sunnyside “Walk Score” rating improved

Recently WalkScore, which is part of Redfin real estate group, upped its score of walkability in Sunnyside, boosting its rank to 76th most walkable neighborhood in the city (out of 110). Read more here on Hoodline. See full ranking list here (page down).

New map released for proposed bike share stations in Sunnyside

Motivate, the company implementing Ford GoBike bike share expansion in San Francisco released a new map of the next phase of expansion. View map here [regularly updated].

Courtesy Glen Park Association, which was included in an earlier phase of rollout, here are two documents from SFMTA that detail specifications about placement of stations, on and off street.
