We are pleased to announce new details on how to participate in the developer selection process for the Balboa Reservoir. The information below can also be found on the Community Portal for the developer selection process at http://sfwater.org/balboa/community. There you will also find Frequently Asked Questions on this process and additional background resources.

Meeting #1: Presentation of Proposals

On Saturday, June 10 at 10am, in the Archbishop Riordan High School Cafeteria (175 Phelan Ave), the three finalist development teams will present their proposals, followed by discussion and comments. Sat May 13: Special community meeting on Balboa Reservoir Project — you can affect the outcome of this new housing development nearby

It’s big and it’s nearby — the 17-acre site on our southwest border that will soon be home to a massive housing development: Balboa Reservoir Project. And your opinion counts.

SNA is holding a special Saturday community meeting about Balboa Reservoir Project — Saturday May 13th, at 10 am, at the Sunnyside Conservatory (236 Monterey Blvd). If you haven’t been able to come to a quarterly meeting on Monday evenings, this is a chance to learn about what is happening on the Project, and how your feedback will affect what is built on this huge site that is currently a parking lot.  SF Planning Dept representatives will be present at the meeting. Mar 13: Balboa Reservoir CAC Meeting

The next meeting of the Balboa Reservoir Project Community Advisory Committee (BRCAC) is tonight Monday March 13, 2017, 6:15pm. The topic is: Outreach and public review of developer. More about the meeting here.  All concerned community members are welcome at these meetings.

This important new development, right next to Sunnyside, will have a big impact on the neighborhood. More about the Balboa Reservoir Project here.  Community participation has been a part of the project from early on — and you can be involved and help determine the direction of that development.
