Many present were surprised to learn that the measure on the ballot this November, Proposition E, does not mean a new property tax, but will be covered by the City’s general fund. One of the new trees for Sunnyside planted Saturday Sept 10th —  this one a cajeput on Foerster Street.

Last Saturday September 10th, Friends of the Urban Forest supported by many volunteers planted trees in Sunnyside, Balboa Terrace, Miraloma Heights, and other nearby neighborhoods.
