CCSF trustees to examine Balboa Reservoir development’s impact on enrollment

The upcoming CCSF resolution, addressed by this SF Examiner article, was informed by the Balboa Reservoir Community Advisory Committee. Lisa Spinali, former SNA President and long-time Sunnyside resident, is president of the Committee.

Some City College of San Francisco trustees are concerned that turning the college’s parking lot on Balboa Reservoir into housing could have a negative impact on student enrollment at the already ailing institution.

The Balboa Reservoir Community Advisory Committee will hold its monthly meeting next Monday, March 14, from 6:15-8:30 pm, at CCSF, Multi-Use Bldg Room 140 (on Phelan just north of Ocean).

The Balboa Reservoir Community Advisory Committee will hold its monthly meeting next Monday, March 14, from 6:15-8:30 pm, at CCSF, Multi-Use Bldg Room 140 (on Phelan just north of Ocean). On the agenda are Urban Design Parameters and Housing Parameters with both discussions continuing from February 8. The agenda and draft revised parameter memos are linked at http://www.sf-planning.org/index.aspx?page=4224.
Neighbors are encouraged to attend these meetings which focus on the proposed housing development on the SFPUC-owned part of the Balboa Reservoir adjacent to City College
