Finally! The schoolyard at Sunnyside Elementary School is having its opening event on Saturday Jan 20, 11am to 1pm.
Now the yard will be available for community use on the weekends. Join your neighbors and local families for this fun opening event. SNA officers will be there at our table. More about the city-wide program SF Shared Schoolyard Program: SFSharedSchoolyard.org
Tomorrow is the annual Halloween Carnival, from 11am-2pm at St Finn Barr Hall (415 Edna Street). You are invited! This event is lots of fun for kids and families. There are games and activities, food and prizes, and a costume contest (for both adults and kids). Supervisor Norman Yee will be present to judge the contests. Photos from last year:

One dad arrived a bit grumpy, he didn’t really want to come along, but by the end he was telling me and everyone else what a great time he and his family had.”
