On Monday October 5th, Sunnyside Neighborhood Association is sponsoring a Candidates’ Forum for District 7. 6:30 – 8:00 PM, via Zoom. All seven candidates will be present. Subjects will range through these areas of local interest: Monterey commercial development, the Balboa Reservoir development, housing and zoning, property crime, City College, participatory budgeting, and Covid-19 policy.

D7 Candidates’ Forum: Civil and Informative

Our District 7 Candidates’ Forum was a success last night. The event was well attended, with over one hundred present. The candidates took turns with short answers to numerous questions, ranging from the crime problem to pedestrian safety to leash laws to rent control. District 7 Supervisor Candidates’ Forum on Monday Oct 10th

Sunnyside Neighborhood Association will host a District 7 Candidates’ Forum on Monday October 10th, 7-8:30pm at St Finn Barr Auditorium (415 Edna St).

Incumbent Supervisor Norman Yee and all four challengers — Mike Young, Ben Matranga, John Farrell, and Joel Engardio — will be present. Event is open to all. Questions will be taken from audience. Come early at 6:30 pm to meet the candidates.
