City College Master Plan update

City College of San Francisco Ocean Campus has a new draft Facilities Master Plan (FMP). View the PDF of this document here. Below is a small selection of slides from this 72-page document. View info and meeting dates for the CCSF Facilities Committee here.

Points of interest to Sunnyside residents may include:

  • West Parking structure: just south of Riordan High School, up to 1200 pakring places, up to six stories.
  • East Surface Parking: development of access via Ocean Ave, discouragement of access via Marston Ave.
  • Preservation of the Judson Hillside openspace.
  • Two different orientations considered for “North Drive” which will serve as access to the Balboa Reservoir housing project.

Mar 11: Balboa Reservoir CAC meeting

On Monday, March 11, the first meeting in 2019 of the Balboa Reservoir Community Advisory Committee (BRCAC) takes place at the Multi-Use Building, Room 140, 50 Frida Kahlo Way, City College. The agenda is not yet posted, but will be sometime before the meeting here.

Sustainability and Balboa Reservoir Project

On Dec 5, the developer team for the Balboa Reservoir housing development, AvalonBay/BRIDGE, held a holiday meeting event with Sustainability as the focus subject. Balboa Reservoir community event on December 5th

The next Balboa Reservoir project event is the Community Holiday Party held on Wed Dec 5, at the Ingleside Presbyterian Church (1345 Ocean Ave) from 6 to 8 pm.

During the event, there will also be a Sustainability Workshop, describing how that principle will be implemented in the planned housing project. Opportunities for public feedback.
