As per our Bylaws, Sunnyside Neighborhood Association will be holding its biennial elections at our next quarterly meeting—Monday Feb 9th, 2026 @ 6:30pm at the St. Finn Barr Community Room. Any Sunnyside resident who is an active SNA member is eligible to hold a board position. See below for an excerpt from the updated SNA Bylaws that define the board positions.
If you are a Sunnyside resident who is interested in serving on the board, please contact SNA (board@sunnysideassociation.org) AND come to the Feb 5 meeting in person. We strongly encourage anyone interested in running for a position to submit a short candidate statement—a few sentences about you and why you’re interested in your particular officer position— with the current SNA Board by EOD Monday Feb 2nd so we can share with the broader SNA membership base ahead of time. At the minimum, please prepare to present it to the membership at the elections on Monday Feb 9th. As per the Bylaws, nominations and voting take place in person without provision for proxies or paper ballots.
