The Last Panel – The Diego Rivera Mural leaves City College, for now

Today, the last panel of Pan-American Unity is to be removed to SF Museum of Modern Art for restoration. The famous mural by Diego Rivera has resided in the City College theatre named for the artist since the 1950s. After work on it is finished at SFMOMA, the 75-foot long mural will return to City College, to be installed in the planned new Diego Rivera Theatre, on Frida Kahlo Way, yet to be constructed.
