Although the re-opening of personal-service businesses was recently delayed, there have been a few changes to our local businesses since the last update.

  • Hours: 10 AM – 7 PM. Delivery available.
  • Order your sandwiches ahead by phone (415)337-8447 or via caviar, grubhub, Doordash.

Monterey Pizza & Asian Zap, 598 Monterey Blvd. [No change]

  • Hours: Tues-Wed-Thurs 4:30 PM – 10 PM / Fri-Sat 11 AM – 11 PM / Sunday 11 AM – 10 PM.

Kwik and Convenient, 600 Monterey Blvd. [NEW HOURS]

  • Hours have returned to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Prince has masks of various sorts for sale.

Bay Wheels bike share station at Monterey and Gennessee is being kept pretty well stocked with bikes. A Bay Wheels company worker was doing just that on the Wednesday afternoon when your correspondent walked by.

Salons, spas, and barber shops remain closed.

On a note of hope, local barber Tyrone Powell is working on creating an outdoor space in back of the shop in order to re-open, when that is allowed by the City. His wife Maria’s Happy Lashes spa may open the same way sometime.
