New business rules in effect Monday

As of Monday May 18, the City will allow retail businesses to operate curb-side pickup service if they obey a set of detailed regulations. Associated manufacturers and suppliers are also included. The regulations include extensive requirements for keeping employees and customers safe while conducting transactions.

This change includes only retail businesses, and not personal service providers–so Sunnyside’s hair salons, barbers, nail salons, spas, eyelash salons, and the like will remain closed for now. Read about Sunnyside’s restaurants that are currently doing business here.
