The SF-Marin Food Bank is providing free food at many locations in the Bay Area in this time of crisis. Nearby to Sunnyside there are several locations, see below. Remember to wear your mask in line and when collecting your bag at the food pantries.

Buses are limited currently. If you are a senior you can access lower-cost taxi rides using Muni’s new Essential Trip Card. Read more here.

  • Distribution: Wednesdays 9 AM to 1 PM
  • Transit: Near Balboa Park BART; buses 8-Bayshore, 29-Sunset
• Minnie & Lovie Ward Rec Center, 650 Capitol Ave, San Francisco, 94112 [2 miles]
  • Distribution Time:  Saturdays, 9 AM – 1 PM
  • Transit: Bus 29-19th Ave may provide part of trip
• NEW! Stonestown YMCA, 333 Eucalyptus Dr. [2+ miles]
  • Distribution Time: Wednesdays 12 to 4 PM
  • Transit: Bus #28-19th Ave. stops close by at Eucalyptus and 19th
