Cleaner Energy is Coming to San Francisco Residents
Cleaner energy from your City power provider is coming to San Francisco residents this spring! Starting in April, residential electricity customers in San Francisco will be welcomed into CleanPowerSF, the community choice clean energy program operated by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC). Customers also have the option of opting up to 100% renewable energy for just a few dollars more per month, or opting out of the program and staying with PG&E. Learn more at www.cleanpowersf.org. Or download this 8-page PDF for complete information about the program.
Green Your Home with CleanPowerSF!
San Francisco residents: clean energy is finally here! Through CleanPowerSF, a community choice clean energy program operated by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), residents will start receiving cleaner, greener electricity this April. CleanPowerSF buys your electricity from sources such as wind and solar, and that electricity is delivered to your home via PG&E’s existing poles and wires. All other aspects of your electricity service will remain the same, including billing. Customers will be enrolled in our Green service with at least 40% renewable energy. Customers also have the option to eliminate their carbon footprint by opting up to SuperGreen service with 100% renewable energy for a few more dollars per month. Together, we are moving San Francisco toward a more sustainable future. Learn more at www.cleanpowersf.org.
