Proposed Bike Share Station: Feedback Requested Judson at Gennessee

A new bike share station has been proposed on Judson at Gennessee. We are reaching out to gather feedback in order to finalize station locations.

About this Location 

The proposed station would be 27 docks providing service to students and nearby residents. The station would shift the yellow zone east of the station, but still adjacent to the entrance pathway to the Horticulture Center. It would be near a bike routes on Judson and Gennessee and provides a connection to the 43 MUNI line. The station would improve intersection safety as well as improving parking and traffic congestion in the area.

Station Siting

Neighbors and community members recommend station locations online and at public meetings, workshops and presentations. Our planning team also considers a variety of other factors, including station density, demand, access to bike lanes, sunlight, utilities and more. Community

This station would give community members an affordable and healthy form of transportation to commute to work or school, run errands, get to appointments and more. Bike share has been shown to increase foot traffic at local businesses.
