Greetings to all Gardeners,

This note is to let you know that we will be having a gardening day in the Sunnyside Conservatory on Saturday, June 16th from 9:00 am till noon. 

The place looks rather sad right now, and I hope to find the Leucadendron and the Abutilon (we apparently have the kind that grows to 9 ft. tall) that hangs over the stairway has been cut back before we come.

Please do join us if possible. Don’t forget that any effort is appreciated. If you can spare only a half hour, it will help, and we all thank you! Please wear long sleeves – we need to “minimize” the variegated bougainvillea, as it has never adapted well to our site, and if you need to be aware that it has horns.

I have a few tools that I can share. (I like my own tools & gloves, and normally bring them). I hope R&P will provide some more, and some gloves and pads for kneeling. I will bring something to eat and some coffee.
