We are pleased to announce new details on how to participate in the developer selection process for the Balboa Reservoir. The information below can also be found on the Community Portal for the developer selection process at http://sfwater.org/balboa/community. There you will also find Frequently Asked Questions on this process and additional background resources.

Meeting #1: Presentation of Proposals

On Saturday, June 10 at 10am, in the Archbishop Riordan High School Cafeteria (175 Phelan Ave), the three finalist development teams will present their proposals, followed by discussion and comments. Refreshments and children’s activities will be made available at the meeting.     

Note that the meeting date has changed from previously discussed dates.

Meeting #2: Screening of Presentations

Following the June 10 meeting, the Balboa Reservoir Community Advisory Committee (BRCAC) will screen a video of the presentations and facilitate discussion, with additional opportunity to comment. We will announce the date and time of this meeting shortly and expect it to occur on a weekday evening within a week or two of June 10.

A video of the developer presentations, the slideshow from June 10th, as well as other documents that the development teams submit to the City will also be posted on the Community Portal.

Ways to Comment in June

• Submit comments at the June 10 meeting
• Submit comments at Meeting #2 at the BRCAC (date to be determined)
• Submit comments online through the Community Portal

We will provide reminders and updates as the meeting dates approach. We look forward to sharing the development proposals and hearing your feedback in June.

The selection of a developer is only the beginning of a multi-year process that must occur before the development plan is finalized and approved. During that period, the Balboa Reservoir Community Advisory Committee (BRCAC) will also continue to serve as a primary venue for public information and feedback.
