Many of Sunnyside’s green spaces stay in good shape only due to the efforts of volunteers. Come along this Saturday Sept 24th and help out — meet Sunnyside neighbors (and still have time to make the rounds at the multi-household Garage Sale).

From NextDoor: Hi neighbors! SNA Greening volunteers need help with weeding this weekend, Saturday, 24th 9am – 12noon. The Parks Alliance’s Clean and Green team will also partner with us.

Please join us for any time you can spare. We’ll tackle fennel, weeds, and grasses on a stretch of Circular Ave going up from the Judson/Paulding intersection toward City College.

You’ll find us near 650 Circular Avenue, close to where Circular meets Havelock. Bring your gardening gloves and tools if you have them, & we have supplies too.

Bonus: It’s quiet – little traffic! And we have snacks and water.

We’ll be very pleased to see you!!
