Be Featured in Our Calendar

Every year our Gardening Calendar, distributed to 35,000 households in SF, features vibrant photos and offers information on less-toxic gardening and pest-control methods. For our 2017 Photo Contest, we’d like to see examples of beautiful and/or interesting native plants in your urban environment. Deadline to submit photos is August 5, 2016. Find full details here.

Adopt a Drain, Protect Your Neighborhood

The Adopt a DrainSF web application enables San Franciscans to “adopt” one or more of the City’s 25,000 storm drains and pledge to help keep it free of leaves and debris during the rainy season.

City staff worked with volunteers from the local non-profit Code for San Francisco to develop the Adopt a Drain SF web application. Adopt a drain in your neighborhood!

2015 Annual Report

Take a look at our Sewer System Improvement Program’s (SSIP) 2015 Annual Report. This year we used a new format to make the report come to life with pictures, videos, and graphics. Check it out to learn what we’re doing to better the sewer system and neighborhoods. To minimize resources we are not producing printed copies.

Sincerely,

The SFPUC Sewer System Communications Team
