As a neighbor of Sunnyside Elementary School, we are notifying you that construction at the Sunnyside Elementary School is about to begin. The scope of this work will include:

New Building with 6 Classrooms and Media Center and an Existing Building Modernization. Additionally, the Existing Building Modernization includes: new fire protection and fire alarm systems, new and modernized toilet rooms, new kitchen, new flooring and ceilings throughout, door replacements, interior painting, new doors and hardware, new clock and bell system, security and phone system, re-arrangement of support and administrative spaces, new signage, and seismic work. There will also be Site Work for accessibility upgrades, removal of existing bungalows, replacement of exterior stair at Auditorium, and striping.
