Sunnyside Elementary celebrated its annual Bike to School Day and Spring Bike Festival today.  Lots of students turned out on bike, rollerblades and skateboards.

 

 

 

 

 

This event is open to students in the afterschool programs or any Sunnyside student with their own bike and a parent accompanying them.  We will have areas for brand new bikers to learn to ride and more experienced bikers to practice their skills.

 

Alongside the rodeo, we will be holding another Bike Swap hosted by Yellow Bike, which is a great opportunity to trade your child’s too-small bike for a bike that fits.  This is also a great chance to donate your old bikes that you don’t need, or to pick up a “new” bike for your child.
