We are sad to report that the woman killed after being struck by a truck at Edna and Judson was a woman well known to many in the community. Becky Lee was the custodian at Sunnyside Elementary School. She was a truly wonderful woman who knew every child by name, who always stopped to talk to children who looked like they needed a friend, who helped anyone who needed it. She helped every Friday at the Food Pantry distributing groceries to the needy. She was a proud mother of 2 boys in college, she was looking forward to retiring with her husband, she always had a smile and a hello.
