If you need a bike, low cost rebuilds will be on sale, and bikes will be available through the PTA bike swap.

Presidio YMCA Ybike Training Are your kids ready to take off the training wheels?  A dedicated learn-to-ride zone with a small bike “rodeo” course will be set up on the flat areas of the school yard.  All youth under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.

SF Safe Routes to School: Beyond the Blacktop – Do your kids already know how to ride on two wheels and are ready to learn the rules of the road?  Join SF Bicycle Coalition and League of American Bicyclists instructor Jason Serafino-Agar for this 1.5-hour, on-bike session that starts on the school yard and progresses to neighborhood streets.  Bring your bikes, helmets, layers, and snacks.  All youth under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.

San Francisco Yellow Bike Project– This non-profit will have a bike repair stand onsite to teach parents and kids how to make minor bike repairs.

Bike Swap Do you have an old bike that’s a little worse for wear or needs minor repairs taking up space in your garage?  The PTA can take that bike off your hands and give it to a kid in need.  Starting Wednesday, October 17th, drop your bikes off near the bike racks on the Flood Street side of the schoolyard.

“Pedal Powered” Food Vendors– Mamak SF and The Localist will sell their delicious, locally-resourced, healthy food during the event.
